Fruit Loops {refined sugar free, gluten free & vegan}

Cereal, although often advertised as ‘healthy’ because of the fortified vitamins they add, is often packed with refined sugar, gluten and is super processed

This one is your healthy alternative, packed with colourful superfoods!

It's also lower glycemic index, gluten free, vegan, refined sugar free, ultra crunchy and is a super fun homemade cereal or snack


1/4 cup vegan butter

1/3 cups coconut sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup gluten free Schar mix it universal flour

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1/8 tsp salt

1 tbsp plant milk

Superfood powders (I used Unicornsuperfoods)

💛 1.5 tsp tropical blend

💗 1.5 tsp pink pitaya or beauty blend

💜 1/2 tsp berrylicious blend

💙 1 tsp blue spirulina


Cream the butter, coconut sugar & vanilla in a bowl. Sift in the bicarbonate, flour, salt, mix and then add the plant milk

Divide into 4 balls and place in 4 separate bowls. Knead in the powders until combined.

Roll each colour into balls around 1-1.5cm wide. Cover the top of a pencil in baking paper and secure with an elastic band! Once you’ve rolled out each ball, poke through the middle with the pencil, you may want to turn it over too to make sure it’s pierced fully. Place them all on a lined baking try and bake at 170C for 8-10 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days

Serve as cereal with milk of your choice for breakfast or a snack! 🥣
